Uwe Schwarzwalder

UWE SCHWARZWALDER

Uwe was born and raised in Wädenswil at the beautiful Lake of Zurich. With German and Bulgarian roots, he saw already at an early age

the different cultures the world has to offer. He always felt drawn

to the arts, loved singing in his school years, and later on doing modeling and eventually got into acting. Uwe lived in New York

and Los Angeles for over 3 years which got him even more into

the arts.

In Los Angeles, Uwe appeared in many TV and movie productions

and visits the City of Angels on a regular basis. He's taught by Dianne and Lorie Hull in Santa Monica who both worked with Elia Kazan

and Lee Strasberg.

His visits to the renowned workshops of Jack Waltzer in London,

a life time member of the Actor's Studio, broadened his perspective.

He also participated in workshops with Herbert Fischer, Jo Kelly,

Kirk Baltz and Marco Hausmann-Gilardi. His training is ongoing.

Uwe produced his own feature, The Radicalization of Jeff Boyd,

which took him about 3 years from writing and shooting to editing.

The film is currently running on the festival circuit and has won numerous awards.

Uwe ist am schönen Zürichsee in Wädenswil geboren und aufgewachsen. Mit deutschen und bulgarischen Wurzeln konnte er

schon in frühen Jahren verschiedene Kulturen erleben. Zur Kunst

fühlte er sich schon immer hingezogen, liebte es in den Schuljahren

zu singen, später dann zu modeln und zu schauspielen. Uwe lebte

3 Jahre in New York und Los Angeles, was ihn noch mehr

zur Kunst brachte.

In Los Angeles arbeitete er in vielen TV- und Filmproduktionen

und besucht die Stadt der Engel in regelmässigen Abständen.

Sein Schauspiel hat Uwe bei Dianne and Lorie Hull in Santa Monica

vertieft. Beide arbeiteten mit Elia Kazan und Lee Strasberg zusammen.

Die bekannten Workshops von Jack Waltzer, ständiges Mitglied

vom Actor's Studio in New York, erweiterten seinen Horizont. Ausserdem besuchte er Kurse von Herbert Fischer, Jo Kelly,

Kirk Baltz und Marco Hausmann-Gilardi. Uwe arbeitet ständig

weiter. Er produzierte seinen eigenen Spielfilm, Die Radikalisierung

von Jeff Boyd, was vom Schreiben und Filmen bis zum Editieren

3 Jahre dauerte. Der Film läuft im Moment an den Festivals und

gewann zahlreiche Auszeichnungen.
